Love the song, "Not that song" and second best, "The craftsman". You should join the ER staff. You would have fun...ER Nurse(TCMC)

I heard "Not That Song" the other day while listening to either Pandora or Last.fm, and it really moved me. So I came here and listened to it again. The vocals are soulful; the guitar work is perfectly matched to the vocals and the overall melancholy mood of the song; and the song, while seemingly simple, is deceptively powerful. It is the perfect example of Gestalt -- while each individual element is, in itself, excellent, the song makes magic in that the net result is even more excellent than the sum of its excellent parts. Thanks for writing and sharing such exceptional music. I hope you eventually make it over to Maryland to perform.

The more I listen to your album, the more it finds a permanent place in my playlist. The melancholy is striking and engaging at the same time. Your voice is distinctive and always welcome in my home, truck and ipod. Thanks, man. I await new material

I was doing the door at that awful place on Avenue C called Alphabet Lounge. You guys played and it was really beautiful. You gave me your CD afterwards and I love many of the songs but... there is one that remains in my head through my days. "Not That Song" has a simple honesty that makes it shine. Thank you for the experience. Silvana

Clayton,
The album sounds better every time I listen to it. Will need to buy a new one soon.
Keep up the great work and telling your stories in your songs. After all Jesus does love a sad song.
